Quality Policy

About Our Quality Policy

At Doku Clinic, quality is a shared responsibility embraced by everyone involved in our service processes.
Our goal is to design, implement, monitor, and continually improve every procedure in line with our mission, vision, objectives, and national and international standards — ensuring the highest levels of service quality, patient and employee safety, and satisfaction.

The Quality Management Department operates independently and reports directly to the Board of Directors, as defined in the organizational chart.
All reports and studies prepared by the Quality Management Department are first submitted to the Board of Directors within a vertical hierarchical structure.

All other departments participate equally within the Quality Management System, with assigned Quality Representatives in each department who work in coordination with the Quality Manager.
These representatives play an active role in the implementation and sustainability of the quality system.

Throughout all processes, the following committees and teams operate actively:

  • Quality Management Committee
  • Occupational Health and Safety Board (OHS)
  • Risk Management Team
  • Internal Audit Team
  • Facility Tour Team

Healthcare Quality Standards

Our institution complies with the “Regulation on the Development and Evaluation of Quality in Healthcare” and the Healthcare Quality Standards (HQS) Medical Center Set, published by the Turkish Ministry of Health’s Directorate of Healthcare Quality and Accreditation.
We are responsible for making the necessary arrangements and implementing improvement activities as required by these standards.

Doku Clinic has been certified with ISO 9001 — an achievement that significantly contributes to the development of our internal quality culture.
External audits are conducted annually by authorized certification bodies.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification

The ISO 9001 standard, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), provides an international framework that helps institutions meet patient expectations and continuously improve service quality.
Doku Clinic received its ISO 9001:2015 certification on June 22, 2022, and continues to undergo regular external audits every year to maintain compliance and excellence.

ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System Certification

The ISO 27001 standard ensures that organizations protect confidential information, identify and manage risks related to information security, and continuously improve their data protection systems.
Doku Clinic obtained the ISO 27001:2022 certification on March 11, 2025, and is audited annually by authorized institutions under this framework.

Adverse Event Reporting System

At Doku Clinic, we operate a structured Adverse Event Reporting System to manage incidents or near-misses that may pose risks to patient or employee safety.
The system is designed to protect employee confidentiality and to allow secure, transparent reporting.
All incidents are reviewed through root cause analysis, and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are planned and implemented.

Indicator Management System

We utilize an Indicator Management System to monitor, evaluate, and improve departmental performance.
Indicators are tracked in accordance with the Indicator Management Guidelines published by the Ministry of Health.
Data analyses are reviewed regularly, and when necessary, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are initiated to ensure continuous improvement.

Self-Evaluations

The Quality Management Department appoints a Self-Evaluation Team and develops an annual self-assessment plan in accordance with established standards.
In cases where nonconformities or improvement opportunities are identified, Corrective and Preventive Actions are coordinated with department heads and senior management to ensure effective resolution.

Facility Rounds

Regular Facility Rounds are conducted under the coordination of the Occupational Health and Safety Specialist and the Facility Tour Team to ensure that our physical environment and technical infrastructure remain safe, accessible, and suitable for patients, visitors, and staff.
Identified nonconformities are addressed promptly, and improvement actions are documented and monitored.

Training Programs

In line with our quality improvement objectives, Doku Clinic ensures that all employees receive comprehensive and effective training.
An Annual Training Plan is prepared by the Human Resources Department, based on institutional standards, departmental needs, and employee feedback.
Trainings are conducted regularly in our on-site conference hall, and all sessions are evaluated for effectiveness.
External training programs are also planned and tracked by the Human Resources Department.

Drills and Emergency Preparedness

Emergency plans and procedures have been developed to address potential disasters or emergencies.
Regular emergency drills and training sessions are organized throughout the year under the coordination of the Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, ensuring that all personnel are prepared and response-ready.
